
On June 1st, Vahagn Atabekyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon, handed the My Step Foundation’s gift to the students of “Birds’ Nest” orphanage-school on Children's Day. This special orphanage operates under the auspices of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia.

On May 15, the International Family Day, the importance of the strength and solidarity of families was further emphasized in the context of the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus. The crisis has shown that only with social responsibility we can overcome challenges effectively.

Today, on April 16, the next batch of vital medical supplies to combat the coronavirus COVID-19 was transferred to Armenia.

The My Step Foundation has donated $200,000 for the purchase of vital medical supplies (clothing, masks, goggles, gloves, mantles, insulators and insulated clothing) as part of the fight against COVID-19. The special flight, coordinated by the RA Rapid Response Coordination Office, will arrive from China to Armenia this evening and next week.

The My Step Foundation, guided by the principle of social responsibility and the need to urgently support groups at risk from COVID-19 in Armenia, has decided to combine its efforts and resources with the Armenian Red Cross Society. The efforts of the two organizations, combined with the Rapid Response Coordination Office, aim to support vulnerable groups during emergencies.

In January, Matthew Flesock, the Executive Director of UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind Program, was invited to Armenia by My Step Foundation to consult on the Foundation’s Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle in Public Schools program and to share the experience of Sound Body Sound Mind program, which provides fitness trainings for US school students and teachers and improves their health conditions.
