The Cultural Center of Khachik is one of the 9 beneficiaries of the MY STEP Foundation's "Reviving cultural centres in the regions" program, whose employees and volunteers participated in the capacity building trainings last year as part of the program.

And now, accompanied by the Foundation's program team, they are making study tours to various communities in Armenia, where the social entrepreneurship model has been successfully implemented.

The community of Artavan is implementing the program "Protection of the mountain and steep landscapes of Vayots Dzor through eco-tourism development".

Community representatives talked about this with the staff and volunteers of the Cultural Center of Khachik, presenting the process of implementing the ecotourism model, the features of creating tourism infrastructure, ways to involve the community in environmental activities and, finally, the achievements of the ecotourism community.
