The school now has two completely renovated gymnasiums equipped with exercise devices, and two new dressing rooms with adjacent bathrooms, locker rooms and showers. The renovation was an award to the students of Goris N 6 school as winners of the “Children’s League” TV show on the Public TV of Armenia. As a part of the collaboration with the public TV, MY STEP Foundation committed to include the First and Second Prize winning schools of the show in the “Promoting Healthy Lifestyle in Public Schools” project to encourage students’ participation in sports and promote their engagement in enhancing their schools.

Present at the ceremony were staff members of the Instigate Mobile CJSC Goris branch. They made a motivational presentation about healthy lifestyle for schoolchildren and played a friendly basketball match against the students of the Goris school.

This is the fourth regional school the gymnasiums of which were renovated by My Step Foundation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Manoogian Simone Foundation for funding the renovation of the school facilities.

The project will build on its achievements to develop the culture of healthy lifestyle in the communities with renovated gymnasiums. No new school will be included in the project in 2021.
