Nearly 15 million AMD are allocated for New Year performances organized for 4750 children

MY STEP Foundation organizes New Year events for nearly 4750 children aged 6-12: children of servicemen fallen, wounded, missing or in captivity, as well as children of families moved to Armenia due to recent Artsakh war. At the invitation of MY STEP Foundation and its sponsorship, the children will attend these days’ performances of theaters operating in different cities of the Republic of Armenia. Gift packages will be distributed to the participating children.
MY STEP Foundation has allocated 14 million 890 thousand AMD (about 28.000 USD) for the events.
ATTENTION, the number of children participating in the events is clarified and the list is created according to the data provided by regional authorities.
• Yerevan, December 24, 28, 29 – 8 performances for 2300 children,
• Gegharkunik region of Armenia, December 22, 23, 24 – 6 performances for 900 children,
• Syunik region of Armenia, December 26 – 3 performances for 600 children,
• Shirak region of Armenia, December 23, 26 – 3 performances for 510 children,
• Lori region of Armenia, December 29 – 3 performances for 440 children.
It is worth mentioning that UNFPA Armenia sponsors the events in Shirak region.
